MAME .126 Released

- source/binary
Aaron mentions...
In addition to the usual large pile of changes and improvements, there are several big changes come along with this release that you should be aware of:- The new universal recompiler engine is now live and running. Both the MIPS3 and PowerPC CPU cores have been ported over to it. Most games should be working about as well as they did before, and should be at full speed on both 32-bit and 64-bit Intel processors.
- The MAME debugger is now included in all builds; just add the -debug option and you can use it from any 0.126 or later binary. This means the focus of the "debug build" is now to enable assertions and to make it easier to debug the MAME code itself.
- The cheat engine is currently undergoing some major renovations. It is largely functional but still has some rough edges. If there are specific things wrong with it, please report the bugs over at MAMETesters, so that they get fixed during the 0.127 development cycle.Hopefully we'll get back to a normal 1 month development cycle starting with the next release. In the meantime, enjoy the update!

MAME .125u8 Released
"Oops, a major bug crept into the last release at the last second, so without further ado, please grab the small update to MAME 0.125u8 from the Source Updates page. There will still be a u9 next week, and hopefully a 0.126 to follow shortly thereafter."

Folding@Home Update
Firstly, thanks goes out to everyone who has joined us in our Folding@Home effort, and we urge more of you to join if possible.
As for the update, a shiny new NVIDIA GPU folding client for any 8xxx or 9xxx series graphics card is currently available for Windows!
Download it HERE.
Note: You *must* use the latest official NVIDIA driver (v174.55 or higher).
Now check out the performance, wow 8)
The new GeForce cards are expected to hit more than 650 nanoseconds of protein simulation in a single day, while the Radeon HD 3870 is stuck at about 170 ns. The Playstation 3 is able to produce "only" 100 ns of simulation, while a quad-core CPU creates an output of just four nanoseconds. For those who are keeping count: The GeForce GPU will be about 163 times faster than a quad-core processor in this specific application.
So let's get going - thanks! ~Twisty~

Aaron mentions...
"The big news in this release is that World Rally - long thought to be unemulatable - is now up and running, thanks to some help from Gaelco S.A. directly! Even more exciting is that Gaelco has officially offered the World Rally ROMs for free download on their site.
Please note carefully that these World Rally ROMs are only available for personal, non-commercial use. In fact, there is already concern that some folks are out to make a buck off of the released ROMs, since they include the coveted protected Dallas code. If we hope to get additional help in the future, please do not abuse the kindness of the folks at Gaelco!"
